Phyto-sanitary certificates and quarantine ones


Phyto-sanitary certificate - the international document, which is given out by quarantine organs or plants` protection by countries, which are engaged in exporting and which present itself as a document, which confirms the phyto-sanitary condition of goods, which must be enclosed to the transport documents, which in their turn provide the escort to goods. The list of import and export goods, which must be under control of organs of State Quarantine, is given in the Letter of GTK RF from 11.04.97 year № 01-15/6721.

The export of goods from the territory of Russian Federation is being carried out with the escort of phyto-sanitary certificates (Fitosanitary certificates) in the form, which is required by the International convention FAO, which are certified with the original impression of triangular stamp and with the signature of state inspector, who is engaged in quarantine of plants. Phyto-sanitary certificates are being given out by state inspections, which are engaged in plants` quarantine on the basis of phyto-sanitary observation of timber materials in the place of laying in ad of shipment of timber materials or based on the quarantine inspection of timber before his shipment.
